Doctor Who

I’m not sure if this is the first time that a Library Management System has been at the centre of a TV science fiction story, but last nights Doctor Who was fascinating! ‘Silence in the library’ (pity about the pun) and ‘Forest of the dead’ were a two-parter about an LMS which had been integrated with a dying child called CAL, and had then saved the ‘souls’ of 4022 people to its memory banks in order to stop them being eaten by some microscopic shadow-dwelling creatures called the Vashtu Nerada which had taken over the library building. I wonder which company will be the first to release a ‘CAL’ special edition of their LMS?
